Getting Started
π GitHub Integration
To connect GitHub with Myrror Security, navigate to the integrations page where a list of SCM providers and available integrations is present.
Select the GitHub option and click on the Connect button. This will show 2 options to select:
- Detect: Myrror Security is provided with read-only access to detect and scan repositories for security issues. However, it cannot comment on PRs once a security issue has been detected.
- Detect and Protect: Myrror Security is granted read-write access, which allows it to detect apps, scan for issues, and scan, comment, and block PRs before merging to the upstream branch.
Selecting any of them would redirect you to the GitHub integrations and verification page you can select the organization and confirm access to the GitHub. This is the part where you would need to do 2-factor authentication if it was set up.
Here, you can configure the permission and access to repositories and request the organization for integration.
The preferences of Detect and Detect & Protect can be changed later. In this case, it would redirect you to the GitHub page for updating the access.
