πŸ“„ Licensing Violation Detection

Overview

Myrror ensures compliance by verifying the licenses of open-source packages across all supported languages. Leveraging insights from the Blue Oak Council's License Classification and Google's open-source documentation, we've pre-classified licenses into Approved and Not Approved categories. You can customize these classifications to suit your organization's policies.

Operational Procedure

Enable License Verification

  2. Choose the Scan Configurations tab and click on the relevant configuration. Screenshot of the Scan Configurations tab
  3. Scroll down to the Scanning Engines section and toggle the License Violations option. Screenshot showing the License Violations toggle
  4. Click Save to apply changes.

Modify License Approvals

  1. Navigate to Settings > License.
  2. Move licenses between the Approved and Not Approved sections as needed. Screenshot showing how to move licenses

View All Licenses

  1. Access the Assets page.
  2. Select the Licenses tab to view all detected licenses. Screenshot of the Assets page

Identify Licensing Issues

  • Licensing violations are displayed on:
